Connect HubSpot to Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot

HubSpot is a CRM platform with Marketing, Sales, Service, Content and Operations Hubs on one database. Teams use it to manage contacts, companies, deals and tickets, run email and forms, and track lifecycle stages from subscriber to customer.

Nexatron's hosted MCP server is listed in Claude's connector directory. ChatGPT and Microsoft 365 Copilot add the same server as a custom MCP connector. Connect HubSpot to your Nexatron workspace once, then ask from whichever assistant you use.

What you can ask​

  • How many contacts moved from MQL to SQL this month, by original source?
  • Which deals in the New Business pipeline have sat in the Proposal stage for over 30 days?
  • What is average deal velocity from Appointment Scheduled to Closed Won by owner this year?
  • Which marketing emails sent to the customer list had a click rate under one percent?
  • How many tickets were closed within 24 hours last week, by support team?
  • Which companies with open deals have had no logged meeting this quarter?

Questions read contacts, companies, deals and pipelines with their stage history, tickets, engagements (calls, emails, meetings, notes and tasks), and marketing emails and campaigns.

Prerequisites​

  • A Nexatron workspace admin.
  • A HubSpot account, and a HubSpot user for each person who asks questions.
  • A HubSpot administrator who can register an OAuth app with read scopes.

Admin setup​

Nexatron connects to HubSpot per person, over HubSpot's hosted MCP server, authorized with OAuth 2.0 authorization code through a HubSpot app with read scopes.

  1. In HubSpot, register an OAuth app with read scopes, and note its client ID and client secret.
  2. In Nexatron, go to Knowledge ▸ Sources ▸ New connection and choose HubSpot. Enter the app's client ID and client secret, and save.
  3. Choose who can use the connection.

How each person signs in​

Each person connects their own HubSpot login, from the connection's page or under Knowledge ▸ Sources ▸ Your sign-ins, so answers follow their own HubSpot user permissions.

Which deals in the New Business pipeline have sat in the Proposal stage for over 30 days?

The answer shows the definition it used and the query behind it.

Permissions and masking​

Answers follow each person's HubSpot user permissions: which objects they can view, and whether their access is set to everything, team-only or owned-only records. A rep limited to owned records is answered from their own deals and contacts.

Nexatron's own rules under Settings ▸ Workspace ▸ Access (Access) apply on top and never widen what HubSpot allows.

Troubleshooting​
